The dramatic North Devon coast offering breathtaking views is under 4 miles away, including the quaint fishing village of Clovelly. The contrasting rugged coastline of Hartland Point and Hartland Quay is a walkers haven. Further afield, is the Tarka Trail or explore the wilderness of Exmoor and Dartmoor.
Some nearby places of interest include RHS Gardens Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal, both to be found in Great Torrington. Boat trips to Lundy Island are available from the quayside at the bustling market town of Bideford.
For food and drink, the nearest Pub with Restaurant is under 2 miles away at Woolsery, with many others close by, make sure to enjoy at least one of our famous Devon Cream Teas.
Time (and money!) is certainly well spent at Atlantic Village factory shopping outlet just outside Bideford. A variety of high street shops, markets, gifts and souvenirs can also be found at Barnstable, Bideford, Torrington, Clovelly and Bude.
Local attractions include The Milky Way and The Big Sheep - great fun for all the family. Golf, Fishing and Water sports are located nearby. Westward Ho! and Bude beaches are amongst many to be explored along the spectacular North Devon and Cornish coastline.
How to find us
- Exit the M5 at junction 27 and take the A361 signposted Barnstaple.
- Just before Barnstaple turn Left onto the A39 signposted Bideford.
- Continue on the A39 pass Bideford towards Bude, through Horns Cross and pass The Hoops Inn, then after approximately 1 mile turn left at the crossroads at Bucks Cross signposted Woolsery.
- At Woolsery village centre go straight on at the crossroads, continue for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach a sharp right hand bend, our drive, signposted 'Foxwood and Gorrel' is to the left.
- Follow drive and take the left fork down to Foxwood where a warm welcome awaits you.
